Alex Roese
Judge Advocate - Army

Alex Roese is originally from Gallipolis, Ohio.
 
His first military overseas assignment was in the Republic of South Vietnam (1968-1970). He lost that 13A visa due to having to return to USA for health reasons in 2016 and could not return to the Philippines to do the required annual check in. Alex is currently pursuing a SRRV visa. 
 
His last assignment was in Saudi Arabia (1988-1991) where he earned his Southwest Asia Service Medal.
 
He retired from the U.S. Army after 23yrs of active-duty service.
 
He became a DOD Contractor for 21 years and retired to the Philippines in 2012 and became a Philippine Resident under the 13A Resident Visa program in 2012. He lost that 13A visa due to having to return to USA for health reasons in 2016 and could not return to the Philippines to do the required annual check in. Alex is currently pursuing a SRRV visa. 
 
Alex is a Past All American Commander of VFW Post 8180, Seoul, Korea (2009-2010) and Past All State Commander of VFW Post 12130, Cebu, Philippines (2014-2015).  Alex became a Bronze Legacy Life member in 2017.
